Problems with Caller ID?

Hi,

When an external PSTN call rings through to my VoIP number, the Caller ID is showing as 'External'. Taking a look at received calls in the Voipfone "My Account" panel, the numbers being displayed are IP addresses (not in dotted notation). A quick lookup shows that they belong to Magrathea (probably the PSTN to VoIP provider).

My voicemail emails contain a username of "anonymous" and a dotted IP address.

Is there a problem with Caller ID on the Voipfone network?

This is normally due to the number being withheld or cli not being passed correctly by the originating network if no cli is provided then we display the IP of the originating network
