A missed call would only show on your Voipfone account if the call connected to voicemail.

If the caller leaves before going to voicemail, the call will not show in your call records, but you would see the missed call on the phone itself.

This seems to contradict your advice at
http://www.voipfone.co.uk/online-control-panel.php
where it states
Missed Call Records

Obviously this is where your missed calls are listed but perhaps less obviously missed calls are only those that did not go through to your Voicemail; those 'missed calls' were of course actually answered and can be found in the incoming calls list.
