Linksys SPA1001 needs reconnecting all the time

My telephone adaptor keeps discinnecting from the router. It will take calls for a day or two then fon no apparent reason it fails to connect the telephone and calls get diverted to my mobile which annoying as then I end up paying for the voip to mobile call. The way to reconnect it seems to be to remove the ethernet cable from the back of the the adaptor and reconnect it. Is there a way round this?

This could be a issues with your router, or the set-up of your phone its self.
