Message waiting alert with Virtual PBX

Can you remind me please how voicemail message waiting alerts are handled in Virtual PBX?

Is it the case that messages left in the general voicemail box (accessed with 1572) only cause the message waiting light and interrupted dial tone on the principal extension and do not show on other extensions? Or is it only voicemails left for a particular extension that trigger that extension's message waiting indicator/interrupted dialtone, while there is no notification of general voicemails other than email?

If this is the case, is it possible to have the alert email sent to multiple email addresses?

At present,

Group messages (1572) only send MWI (message waiting indication) to a phone registered to the main account.
Extension messages (1571) send MWI on their respective extensions.

Emails go to the main account address for group and extension address for extensions, only one address possible at present. You can probably set up email rules with your provider to forward messages from voicemail@voipfone.co.uk to a group.

We do have plans to add additional group voicemail options and additional options for how MWI indications should work.
