Snom 820 Firmware

Hi

I have just purchased some snom 820 phones to use on the Voipfone network. Can someone please advise the recomended firmware version.

I left one phone connected over night and it has lost all its setting.

I have reinstalled the latest verson again but are there any bugs I ned to be aware of. These phones are going in a office enviroment so reliability is paramount.

Version 8.2.7 is the current recommended version.

Hi

All has been fine for a few days and now once again 2 handsets lost connection to Voipfone. Reboot and all works.

I am using V.8.2.11 which is the latest according to Snom.

Please advise.

I have a Draytek 3300V as a firewal inbetween (No Settings yet) which is not losing Internet connection as PC browsing works fine.

Should I downgrade to a older firmware?

It sounds like a router problem - you need to switch off SIP ALG.
