PBX Call Records

Hi,

I know this has been mentioned before, but I am having trouble setting this up!!!

I always divert calls to a mobile number and I noticed that I could buy a PBX and set it up so that I could see if a call coming through to my mobile was from my VOIP number. This works great, however I need to be able to see the original phone number somewhere as well.

I have checked my call logs but I only get records for dialled numbers all to my mobile number, I understand this is because of the divert.

I have set my PBX settings so that all calls to my VOIP 0845 number get sent to extension 200 with the 'Line Presentation' box ticked, I have then set the divert on extenstion 200 to my mobile phone number, however am still not seeing any record of the original callers phone number.

Am I missing a step out here? Do I have to purchase a second PBX extension and divert through that before diverting to my mobile?

I really need this working as if I miss a call I am unable to see who the call was from and get back in touch with them.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Please set your number to go to 'ring extension group' rather than extension 200.

Calls will then be logged for the inbound leg and also the outbound leg.

Calls will also ring more quickly to the caller, they won't get the usual delay before it rings when diverting to a mobile and calls will also go to our voicemail if your mobile is not answered or is unavailable (if your mobile does not have its own voicemail service active)
