Snom 370 - couple of questions

#1
Anyway to turn off the dial tone when you lift the handset?

Odd question I know but I prefer to dial on hook, or if phone is still in my hand select a line (or dial 9) and dial.

Also if the other party hangs up my phone doesn't. Is that a phone setting or a voipfone setting?

Thanks,

Adam

Under Advanced, Behaviour you can set 'Return to idle screen on offhook'.

When that is active you can lift the handset then press the cross key to return to the normal standby screen.

When you say the other person hangs up, your phone doesn't is that for inbound or outbound?

Hmm good question - I'll monitor. I think it is both but might only be when I dial out.
