Disconnecting when on Conf call and on Mute

I have been experiencing issues when I join Conference calls and wish to Mute the phone. All is fine for a few minutes, but then it just disconnects and then I have to re-dial.

Is there a setting to override any default auto disconnect? This is quite annoying when on a call that I just need to listen to with no input required from me

This is a known bug.

It is caused by silence on the line being interpreted as a failed cleardown. We implement a timeout to prevent overbilling if you don't return the handset properly.

We should have it fixed shortly, in the meantime don't use mute or if you do flip it on and off every couple of minutes :-)
