busy tone

I have used voipfone for 6 months or more with very little problems until lately when we have been getting a busy signal on outgoing calls (which are not busy). Initially it was not too bad and a simple redial fixed the problem. Now we are unable to call out at all as all calls come up busy including access to voicemail. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

We need to know more about what equipment you are using (telephones, adapters and routers) but off hand it sounds like a firewall issue.

Are you using our NAT Proxy?

First try re-booting whatever you have. Turn off both router and phone. Then switch router back on and when it's finished coming back up switch on phone or adapter.

Tried nat proxy, phone still registers but still getting busy signal.

tried to restart everything (combo router/ modem and ata) but no change.

I am using a Zyxel 2000 series ata with two phone ports, the first to Voipfone the second to another provider which is working fine. This problem has been intermitent for a long time with the identical setup but has only recently been a constant busy signal.
