X-Lite with a company firewall

Anybody any ideas on getting X-Lite to fight its way past a company firewall that I'm not allowed to interfere with?

I'm using nat.voipfone.co.uk:5060 as proxy, but it stubbornly refuses to register with "Login timed out!" message.

I've tried some other softphones (including those claiming to be firewall capable), but no luck/

you should be using nat.voipfone.co.uk:5065 as the outbound proxy :-)

Hmm. Not familiar with that one ...

Our firm uses Kerio WinRoute Pro on our main internet link ... it *claims* to be SIP aware, but all it ends up doing is mangling SIP packets so that they don't get through.

We set up a separate SDSL link for our VoIP usage, with a separate modem/router/firewall. That's obviously not a possibility for just "kicking the tyres" ...

If you can't get anywhere with or without the Voipfone NAT proxy, then you're going to have to involve your firewall wrangling folks ...
