Is it ever possible to cancel a Voipfone account?

I have tried for 3 months to cancel my voipfone service. The accounts section of the website would not let certain options be cancelled.

So 3 months ago I emailed support and asked for the account to be closed.

2 Months ago I am charged again and again email support for all services to be cancelled.

Last Month I email support again and ask for the account to be cancelled. I now notice that the accounts section is not showing any active services so think that finally this has been done.

Obviously not since I have been charged yet again for voipfone services.

I was going to let the charges go, but this is now taking the p@ss.

1) How do I cancel the service once and for all
2) How do I go about getting a refund on the incorrect charges for the last 3 months?

I am happy to open a dispute with the credit card company used for payments, but I was hoping that this would not be required.

As with all our services there are no contracts and no commitment you just simply cancel any services you no longer require we will not accept cancellation requests by email the only person that can cancel services is the account holder if for any reason you cant cancel your items please email support with your account details and we will look in to it for you

That's exactly what I did over and over - email support, since cancelling online did not work.

I was first told that cancellation requests were not accepted from any email address other than the one registered. Fair enough - so I resent from that point on using the email address that is registered.

After emailing support so many times, being told the answer is to email support again, doesn't fill me with that much confidence.

we did have a problem with some services not canceling correctly but this has long been fixed if you do still have unresolved issues you will need to contact support again as your account cant and wont be discussed on a public forum

Your web site has now let me cancel the remaining services. Fingers crossed that is the last invoice I see from Voipfone.

Is emailing support the right route to sort out a refund for the incorrect billing?
