I have been using voipfone with a linksys PAP2 to give me a desk phone and fax without problem for a while now.

I came across this today whilst buying some DVD's, does anyone know or has tried this keyboard and phone combo with voipfone? http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1524

I have contacted SVP and they have no idea about SIP connections.

I would like to get a few if they work as it would sort out a problem for me (free up an analogue port) and for a few customers I have it would be a good solution for their home based workers.

It probably will work as it's just a substitute for a headset with its own soundcard. The VoIP softphone is working in the same way as usual.

No way of knowing about the quality until you try it though.

As above post say's, it looks like a usb phone to me built in to the keyboard!

This means you can only make and receive calls when the pc is on.

Personally I wouldn't waste your money, Quality can't be that good I mean look at the price!

Interesting. It seems like a solid keyboard, although I'm not to keen on the idea of it not working until the OS loads.
