Can I use more than one telephone on one account?

The simple answer to this is no, only one phone can be physically registered on one account.

There are two important exceptions:

1. If you need to have more than one telephone on your account you should use the Voipfone Virtual PBX. With this service you can have up to 800 telephones on the same account. Details here:

2. If you experiment, you will find that it is possible to have more than one telephone using the same account details BUT ONLY ONE PHONE WILL BE REGISTERED AT ANY ONE TIME. This will mean that your phones will register and un-register randomly and we recommend you do not normally attempt this.

However, we allow this condition to occur because it can be a useful tool - it means that you can have a telephone at home and in your office and also, say, on your laptop or with a WiFi phone. So long as the telephone you are not using is switched off, your other phone will be registered.
