Time lag on outbound audio

#1
Help me!

Not been using VOIP for long. I think I have the settings correctly set but I'm getting about a two second time lag for outbound voice. Makes it difficult to hold a conversation.

Before you ask, yes I do have a VPN on my network but this is set to not use the default gateway.

Any help would be grate, thanks

It doesn't paste too well, but the results look OK to me.

There doesn't seem much wrong with that.

Can you check your router and phone for more recent firmware and reboot both.

I already have the latest firmware for my router but have rebooted. After an initial test I don't get a lag, but this is not a firm test as it has been intermittent.

Is there anything else to check?
Richard Watson

If it's intermittent it may well be congestion. The best thing to do it wait until you have another problem then run the mtr again to confirm.
