Hello there. I am using the excellent 7960 config files posted in the forum (search '7960') but can you tell me if I am using these config files, which have NAT configuration switched on - do I need to forward the SIP and the media ports to the static IP of the phone on my LAN. I have at the moment and sometimes the phone drops out the connection - so that got me thinking.....

Thanks everyone for your help in advance.

Matt

You can configure NAT to be used or not in the config file - have a look in there to see if it has been set.

However I am not sure the problem you are having would not likely to be down to your Cisco configuration file assuming its all standard.
