Not asking for anything too technical, but I was advised by customer support that all Snom phones from yourselves come pre-configured. What does this mean exactly, and how is it different than if I purchased an unconfigured VoIP telephone from another provider to use with Voipfone?
Thanks

It means that the phone is sent with your username and password already in so that it only needs to be plugged into your router for it to start working. It also will have the correct firmware for Voipfone and have all UK ringtones.
Because, you have bought it from us, we can then remote manage it for fault finding and upgrades and importantly, we will fully support it.
You can get the phone from anywhere, configure it yourself and it will be fine, but for the few quid it will save you, is it worth the bother?
