Maybe - if the answer is yes to the following questions !
1. I can get a locally coded landline number.
2. Can I permanently divert all calls sent to this number to a designated mobile number ?
3. If I am out of the country for example - can callers to my number get a message to say I am unavailable until - etc etc ?
4. I dont need continuous internet connection to use this service ?

1. Yes. We give you a free 056 number and you can also rent any other sort of number for £1.99pm.
2. Yes. You can also change the divert to any other number as often as you like.
3. Yes, you just remove the divert and the calls go to voicemail.
4. You don't need any internet connection at all - this is all switched in our network.

Voipfone, re question 2, your reply appears to be at odds with the 'usage policy', unless the terms of that have changed, and I quote "The Voipfone service must not be used for ... continuous or extensive call forwarding and call diversion".
The reason I ask is that I want a second phone line for incoming business calls but will have no need to use it to dial out so it will be almost exclusively inbound only with perhaps some forwarding. A voip geographical number seems to fit the bill. I happened to glance at your T&C and usage policy, which appear to rule you out as a supplier for me.
Is my conclusion correct?
Thanks

The clause is there to stop abuse by call centres, single phone normal inbound use is fine.
