Post Outlook Add-in for Snom users
This Outlook add-in for Snom users lets you call people directly from your contacts list in Microsoft Outlook.

http://www.voipfone.co.uk/Snom_Outlook_Setup.exe

To use it:

1.Close outlook
2 Downolad and run the file
3 Open outlook and see the new tab 'Snom Phone'
4 Click on Contacts (bottom left hand of table)
5 Hi-light the contact you want to call
6 Click on Snom Phone and then Call contact

Thanks to David for the tip.

Could you tell me whether this SNOM Outlook Add-In would be a better option for Snom users than the VOIPFone TAPI Dialer found at the URL below please?

I'd really only try & install one or the other.

Alternative VOIPFone Tapi Plug-in v1.0

Thank you,

I'm still wondering which to use. I've tried both.

The Snom one asked me for a Port Number on Setup and I wasn't sure what port I needed to give it and guessed "80". It didn't seem very stable and crashed a few times.

The VOIPFone one was stable, but only seemed to work when the handset was on the hook. This meant my handset rang each time I made a call (which was annoying people at adjacent workstations. I'm not sure if the Snom dialler was the same as I'd already uninstalled it due to crashing.

With either, Is there any way to "set" a default number to diall? The dialler seems to default to the "Business Phone" number, but many of my customers prefer to be called on their mobile.

Thanks,

Mark.
