Post Virtual PBX and SPA3102
Hi all, perhaps you can help answer a question and resolve a problem. Here is what I am trying to do.

- I have an existing Voipfone account without Virtual PBX. I have two incoming numbers and they both ring the same physical phone, connected using a SPA3102

- I now want to add a new number which rings the same physical phone but has its own voicemail mailbox

- I added a single Virtual PBX extension, which became extension 200.

- My plan is to set the SPA3102 to register as 3xxxxxxx*200

- Then I will make my original numbers ring the ' extension group' (which is made of one extension, 200)

- I have added a new geographic number which I have mapped to extension 200.

- In this way, when someone calls the new number, it rings my SPA3102 and if I don't answer, it goes to extension 200's voicemail. If someone calls one of my old numbers, it still rings my SPA3102 (ringing extension 200 as part of the extension group) and if I don't answer it goes the master account's voicemail.

1) Does this setup seem like it should work to achieve my goal of two numbers ringing the same physical phone but going to two different voicemail boxes?

2) The SPA3102 fails to register when I set the user name to 3xxxxxxx*200 - I have have checked the password is correct, and I have the latest firmware 5.1.10 - is this a known issue with the SPA3102, or does anyone have any hints here? The SPA3102 works fine registering as the master account 3xxxxxxx

Thanks for any help you can give!

Cheers,
Martin

Yes, that will do what you're looking for.

Calling 1571 will get you voicemail for 200 and 1572 will get you the voicemail for the numbers going to groups.

After changing username and password on the 3102 please power it off, then back on again. You should find it then registers correctly.
