 PBX voicemail
Hi
If a call comes in, rings all extensions but is unanswered, can it then be diverted to a specific extension (and therefore a voicemail) on the pbx after a number of rings, depending on the number first called? If so, how???
Trust that makes sense - it made my head hurt!
Thanks

 Re: PBX voicemail
*Bump*
Hi,
It would be great to know if there is an answer to this question, as I would like a similar or identical setup.
Basically if an incoming call comes in and rings the extension group is there any way of diverting to the voicemail of a particular extension rather than the master account after say 30 or 40 seconds.
This would be useful if it was possible.
Thanks in advance
Simon.

 Re: PBX voicemail
So am I correct in thinking that calls will ONLY be diverted to voicemail if the line is busy?

 Re: PBX voicemail
We are also finding this a problem, but more importantly because we have a second group, all voicemail for this group is just lost! There is no login for the mailbox for this group, and no email address where the emails can be sent to.
This is a major problem and needs sorting urgently otherwise we will lose messages!
A preferable setup for us would be to be able to chose an extension's mailbox to use for any groups. That way the messages can easily be checked from the phone.
Another slight niggle we have, on another system (same phones) we used to get a light on our phone when we had a massage - we don't seem to get that with this system - is there any way we can get this notification?

 Re: PBX voicemail
I've discovered the voicemail for Group 1 - it was sent to the mailbox for the first extension in the group!
Is this by definition, or is it random? Will the greeting also be the same as the first extension?
If so this happens to work well for us.
It would still be nice to get our flashing voicemail notification though!
