This message will be updated as we receive information from Ofcom
Latest update: May 2009Ofcom have finally announced how they will be making changes to the 0870 number range.
From 1st August 20091. The cost of calling 0870 numbers will be reduced to the normal cost of calling a national number.
2. The current revenue sharing arrangement whereby Service Providers, like ourselves, receive a small income from the call and therefore can offer the numbers free, will cease.
What this means for your service.
From your billing date in August you will be charged £1.99 (ex VAT) for any 0870 numbers on your account. (If you do not have any other chargeable services, you will be charged on 1st August).
Actions you need to take.1. If you wish to keep the number and are already paying for other services, you need do nothing; your account will automatically be brought up to date during August.
2. If you do not need the number/s any more, go into your account and delete it/them before the first of August. You do this here:
