|
|
Hi,
I'm looking for a USB handset which I can plug into the computer and have it work with the softphone, to replace the microphone/speaker or headset arrangement and also to provide dialing and answer/cut off call facilities. There seem to be loads of options on the internet but I have no idea if they will work with the softphone.
I do not need or want an expensive snom ethernet phone or external router solution (I have that for the other line, this is for my travel solution), just something to make the softphone have a more user friendly phoning experience than dialing on the computer and speaking into a microphone with earphones clamped to my head!
Any suggestions? |

In our experience USB handsets are universally sh1te; which is why we refuse to sell them. However for £3.99 you don't have much to lose.
Personally I think you are better off using a cheap headset until you feel ready to buy a proper SIP based telephone that is independent of your PC - the snoms are hard to beat. _________________ Regards
