|
|
Hello there,
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with something.
I've got Asterisk 1.0.7 running on a globally static IP'ed machine and have successfully got it to register with voipfone, however all calls to my voipfone number appear to go to the voipfone voicemail ("The person at extension xxxx is unavailable".)
I noticed the sticky thread at the top of this forum and sent off an email to the support guys to get my machine IP registered - they have now told me that they had set up the IP auth for me, yet calls to my voipfone number are still going to their voicemail.
I don't use a firewall, so opening ports isn't the problem.
Has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong here? I'm scratching my head rather. Asterisk says it's registered.... (I've removed my username below.)

Has anyone had the same issue after voipfone added IP auth? |

Hi, i helped a customer solve this problem the other day. They simply updated the firmware on their router, and then everything worked.
Could you tell me what router do you have please? _________________ Call 121 for Voipfone volunteer support |

Thanks, sure:
I have a 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router.
It has the latest firmware (version 2.06 (Sep 21 2005 14:24:48)) |

| It wasn't resolved for me. I stopped my experiment with Asterisk and voipfone shortly afterwards. |
